It is with great gratitude that I write this recommendation.
As a young preacher, I came into contact with Hagin's books, and it was the beginning of a faith journey that transformed my calling and ministry. A pastor asked me after a meeting: "So you read Hagin's books?"
When he realized I didn't know about Hagin and his books, he went straight home and picked up some Hagin books he had. He said: "You preached about this in the whole meeting today, didn't you?"
But I had simply preached the Word, preaching from the Bible on the text of Mark 11:23 and 24. I had no idea that this was a key word in the story of Hagin's healing when he was raised from the sickness he had as a young boy. Nor did I realize that "word of faith" was a term that spread in many circles.
Fortunately, I have since become really familiar with Hagin, both his books and his teaching.
This led us to the USA and RHEMA already in 1981, and in 1984-85 we attended RBTC in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We studied all of Hagin's books that were available at that time, and since then we have eaten Faith Food all these years, and attended Winter Bible Seminar many times.
Book recommendation - a book that hits the mark in many areas.
One book that hit my heart in a special way in recent years is the 2004 book "The Believer's Authority", "Legacy Edition."
(This edition is an expanded edition with new material, published in 2004.)
If you don't have this book, you should get it! It is a "must" in a believer's life.
Here you will find teaching that can turn your life upside down.
The book gives insight into what it means to be "Seated With Christ", a revelation many Christians have not been given light on. Furthermore, the book addresses topics such as "Breaking the Power of the Devil," and "Exercising Authority". These are chapters that open a door into a triumphant Christian life, a reality that Jesus Christ purchased for us by His death and resurrection, and also the fact that we are now seated with Him at the right hand of the Father in heaven!
This is teaching that God's children really need insight into!
Therefore, I recommend delving into this material from the Word, and Hagin's gift as a teacher makes it clear, simple, and powerful!
Every Christian who discovers these keys will be a blessing and an instrument of deliverance, healing and harvest of people.
This light is part of what has been given to us in Christ Jesus!
Acts 2:32-35 puts it this way: “This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.
Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’"
This is what Paul elaborates on in Ephesians, putting it this way: He “raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus," (Ephesians 2:6).
Jesus is the Head of the body, and all things are put under His feet (Ephesians 1:22-23).
This is just a small taste of what Hagin's book gives you in full measure.
When we study the Word with the light that Hagin teaches in this book I recommend, and bring an open Bible along for the ride, you will rejoice that “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart - that is, the word of faith which we preach" (Romans 10:8).
Therefore, the key is: "Preach the Word" (2 Timothy 4:2).
This book will give you important material from the Word, so you can speak as you should.
The book is highly recommended!
